A Radical is an expression that uses a root, such as square root, cube root. See definition of root. The number of times the radicand is multiplied by itself.
Radicals can be simplified and they can also be added, subtracted, multiplied and divided together.

In this section of chapter 7 you will be using Radicals. You will have to be able to Simplify them and Multiply & Divide them. We will take notes on how to do all 4 operations AND how to Simplify them.
